BJJ Log10 · Last updated: 2026-06-25

BJJ Log10 (the “app”) is a jiu-jitsu training log. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, stored, and deleted.

1. Information we collect

  • Account info: email, name, and profile photo provided by Google sign-in.
  • Profile: belt and stripes, nickname, start date, bio, weight class, Instagram, contact email, and other details you enter.
  • Training data: session logs (date, gym, class type, instructor, notes, condition, time), gym memberships, and attendance.
  • Gym location: gym address and coordinates, entered by an admin or estimated via a public map service. We do not collect your real-time location.
  • Notifications: if you enable push notifications, a device push token is stored (via OneSignal) so we can deliver them. You can turn notifications off anytime in Settings.

2. How we use information

  • Storing and displaying your training records and personal stats
  • Gym community features (gym members, attendance, feed)
  • Map and visited-gyms record (Mat Passport)
  • Operating, improving, and troubleshooting the service

3. Storage and processing

Data is stored with Supabase (database and authentication), and the app is hosted on Vercel. Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS).

4. Third-party services

  • Google — sign-in (OAuth)
  • Supabase — database and authentication
  • Vercel — app hosting
  • OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — gym geocoding and map display
  • OneSignal — push notifications (if enabled)

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Because of the gym community features, some information (name/nickname, belt, profile photo, and sessions you mark as shared) may be visible to members of the same gym. By default your email is visible to members of your home gym so they can reach you — you can change this to everyone or hide it entirely in Settings → Who can see my email.

6. Retention and deletion

Data is retained while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all training records anytime via Settings → Delete account. Deletion cannot be undone. See our account & data deletion page for what is removed and how to request deletion by email.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be fully secure.

9. Changes

This policy may change. When it does, the “Last updated” date on this page will be revised.
